Baron Wolman_Gallery 53We are proud to announce our partnership with Gallery 53 in New York City for Baron Wolman’s “Icons of Rock and Roll”. The exhibit will be opening on October 24th from 7pm-9pm. Running through January 9th, “Icons of Rock and Roll” will highlight some of Baron Wolman’s best images of rock and roll’s greatest artists. Refreshments will be served. Baron Wolman will also be joining us on October 26th at 9:30am for a Special Saturday Morning Session, “The Story Behind the Pictures”. Baron will treat us to some of his favorite stories behind his images. After the session, Baron will also be available to sign and personalize books. We hope you can join us.

We also have an extremely exciting opportunity to announce. Baron is offering a select number of photographers the opportunity to have him review your portfolio. On October 25th and 26th between 1-4pm Baron will be at Bergen County Camera in Westwood, NJ to offer advise and recommendations to upcoming photographers. For just $25, you can reserve your spot to sit down the the Legendary Rock and Roll Photographer himself. If you sign up for the portfolio review, you will be able to purchase a Baron signed 8×10 historic pigment print of Santana at Woodstock for $50.00 (normally $100) and Baron’s signed iconic 11×14 Multiplex for $175.00 (normally $350). Announcing Gallery 270 Englewood!

DSC_0795We’d like to announce the expansion of our Englewood location into a full time gallery, Gallery 270. Since the creation of Gallery 270 in 1998, we have been honored to host the work of some of the world’s greatest photographers. These works of art have long deserved a beautiful, dedicated location. Over the next several weeks, 10 North Dean Street will be converted into a full time Gallery 270 location. Michael Massaia – Afterlife 2013 Opening April 18 at Gallery 270

Here’s a preview of Michael Massaia’s next show “Afterlife 2013” featuring images from the Jersey shore – before and after Sandy. The photographs are split toned silver gelatin contact prints and gold platinum prints.

Gallery 270 will be hosting an Artist Reception on Thursday April 18, 2013 from 7 – 9 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Michael has just won the Hearst 8×10 award with a photograph from his “Seeing the Black Dog” portfolio of work. In the world of photography, this is a very prestigious award. It was chosen as one of the eight winning bodies of work from all fifty states, 2400 entries and 78 different countries. The judges are composed of the most respected photographers, gallerist and experts in photography.
