Join Bergen County Camera for a bus excursion from our store in Westwood to the NY Botanical Gardens on May 20th.
This year’s trip will take place during the Georgia O’Keeffe: Visions of Hawaii exhibition. You’ll have plenty of time to sharpen your photographic skills, look at the many flowers and exhibits or just relax in this ideal setting.
BCC will open for a half hour before the 9:00am bus departure for coffee, bagels and any last minute photography needs.
Tickets are $99 each and cover a pre-trip class on macro photography, round trip bus transportation, admission, a post-trip class and critique and a FREE 11×14 print.
The bus will leave about 4:30pm with a scheduled arrival of 6:00pm back at the store.
There will be a pre-trip lecture on macro photography in our Westwood store on Thursday, May 17th from 6:30-7:30pm. The lecture will cover the layout and rules of the Gardens, tips for enhancing your flower photography, recommended camera settings and lots of other helpful information to get the most out of your time at the Gardens.
Lunch will not be provided on this trip. You may purchase lunch at one of the cafes or restaurants in the Garden or you can bring your own lunch with you. See available dining options on NYBG’s website www.nybg.org/visit/dining/
