Welcome to our thirty-third Bergen County Camera Customer Spotlight. This monthly posting features a customer who’s made an impression on us. They might have grown in their understanding of photography, gained a mastery of the craft and / or have become a strong advocate of our way of doing business in the world of photography. During the next month you will see this customer’s images displayed on our digital signs in store, in our emails, blog posts and social media.
Paige Dana is our customer spotlight for the month of February/March. We hope you both enjoy and are inspired by this new addition to In Focus and look forward to your comments and suggestions. Below you will find a few words from Paige and a gallery containing some of Paige’s images.
I don’t have a long list of accomplishments or many years of photography (just 16 months), but I have passion and vision.
After being struck by a car in January 2021, while walking, I was depressed and homebound from a fractured back and brain bleed, resulting in a permanent brain injury. Recovery was slow, but there was never an option of giving up.
I was taking photos with my iPhone and thought I should up my game by getting a real camera! I headed over to my local camera store, Bergen County Camera, and as usual, everyone was so helpful and encouraging! I have known this store most of my life.
Harold, Steve and John are my go to guys! Any question or help needed – I know I can ask them. This is really true of everyone in the store and that’s why I love buying my camera equipment locally. You can’t buy the support you get at BCC when you order an item online.
My vision has been affected by my brain injury and the folks at BCC understand this and help me figure out how best to overcome my limitations. I love this store and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!
Thanks, in part, to Bergen County Camera, I recently win a merit award for a photo submitted to NJFCC (New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs) and Rockland County Camera Club! I couldn’t be more excited and thankful!

For someone with limited experience, you have achieved a level of expertise others would be jealous of. Wonderful photos, and really nice subjects. Keep up the good work and never settle for less (from yourself).
Thank you so much for the support, J. Kingston! I’m really appreciate it!!
