Course description:
If you have always wanted to photograph concerts or learn the finer points of photographing stage performances, join Scott Diussa for this rock and roll journey into concert photography. Scott will explain what you need to know about exposure, composition, lens choice and photographing musicians and their instruments. This presentation is for anyone with a DSLR or mirrorless camera that wants to take better pictures not only of bands but any stage lighting situation.

About Scott Diussa: Scott Diussa is a photographer, teacher, musician, and traveler. He is a graduate of the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies at Daytona Beach College in Florida with a degree in Commercial Photography. His first position out of school was teaching photography at the Disney Institute at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. From there he joined Nikon and held five positions there all centered around photographic education. Scott has been photographing live bands and stage performances for over 25 years. Scott's work with Nikon Professional Services enabled him to be an educational resource for professional photographers all over the world at major events such as the Olympics, World Cup Soccer, the Kentucky Derby and the Oscars.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Gallery 53 in New York City for Baron Wolman’s “Icons of Rock and Roll”. The exhibit will be opening on October 24th from 7pm-9pm. Running through January 9th, “Icons of Rock and Roll” will highlight some of Baron Wolman’s best images of rock and roll’s greatest artists. Refreshments will be served. Baron Wolman will also be joining us on October 26th at 9:30am for a Special Saturday Morning Session, “The Story Behind the Pictures”.
